Xu Zhihong is a biologist, botanist, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, former President of Peking University and former Vice-President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Xu studied in Peking University from 1959 to 1965 and held the post of President from 1999 to 2008.
