The 2022 Annual Board Meeting of Peking University Education Foundation (USA) Held Via Video Conference

On the evening of December 13, 2022, the 2022 Annual Board Meeting of Peking University Education Foundation (USA) (PKUEF (USA)) was held via video conference with 9 board members participating. Zhihong Xu, Chair of the board, led the meeting.
The board of directors reviewed and approved the 2022 Work Report of PKUEF (USA) presented by Lynn Zhao, President of the Foundation, and the 2022 Financial Report of PKUEF (USA) presented by Shirley Liu, Treasurer of the Foundation.
The board of directors reviewed the Foundation’s 2021 financial statements and auditing report presented by Baker Tilly. Besides, J. P. Morgan, Outsourced Chief Investment Officer of the Foundation, presented a report on the Foundation’s investment performance for the year of 2022. Directors exchanged views and thoughts on the relevant work.
In 2022, under the board of directors’ guidance and support, the Foundation has focused on its mission and vision and continued to advance all aspects of the work, especially in terms of standardization and institutionalization, and to further elevate its internal management efficiency and quality. At the meeting, the board of directors reviewed and approved PKUEF (USA) management policies presented by Mandy Lai, Secretary of the Foundation and Shirley Liu, reviewed the project reports and performance of 2022 of PKUEF (USA) presented by Eleana Hai, Program Assistant of the Foundation. The board of directors reviewed and approved the fundraising programs of Peking University presented by Yuning Li, board director of PKUEF (USA) and Secretary-general of Peking University Education Foundation.
At the meeting, the board of directors highly recognized the work of the Foundation in 2022, and appreciated the concerted efforts of all members. In 2022, confronted with various challenges and difficulties, the Foundation has steadily progressed in many areas. In particular the Foundation successfully completed 2021 Annual Audit and achieved the best result in history. Facing the future, the board of directors are determined that the foundation will continue to work with alumni and friends to promote people-to-people exchanges between the United States and China and contribute to the development of the community.
